I'm strongest in Java 17, Spring Boot and Apache Kafka, with hands-on depth in microservices, multithreaded systems, query optimization and production observability with Grafana and Loki. I've shipped 30+ production releases for Tata AIA Life Insurance through Streebo.

A small simulation of the guarantees I design for: keyed partitions, manual offset commits and idempotent consumers.
Try this: crash the consumer, wait a few seconds, then restart it. The last messages were processed but never committed, so Kafka delivers them again. With the idempotent consumer on they're dropped. Switch it off and they're applied twice.
